Kristina Dooley, Founder and President of Estrela Consulting, was recently elected President of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Dooley is one of just three Certified Educational Planners (CEP) in the state of Ohio and has worked with students navigating the college and school search processes for more than 20 years. Chartered in 1976, IECA is a not-for-profit, professional association representing more than 2,000 experienced independent educational consultants worldwide. Dooley will serve as President of the association from 2020-2022.

"This is an exciting time to be taking the helm of IECA and I am thrilled to be leading an incredible Board of Directors, and an association of exceptional consultants," said Dooley. "As the profession of independent educational consulting grows, the role of IECA has become even more instrumental in providing professional development opportunities to consultants, and upholding ethical standards for those guiding families in this space. It's truly an honor for me to have been selected by my IECA colleagues to serve in this position of leadership."
