Estrela college planning team member, Dr. Christopher Tremblay, was recently recognized as an "Alumni Difference Maker" by the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the institution where he earned his doctor of education degree in educational leadership. Christopher, along with 6 other UM-Dearborn alumni, was recognized for his contributions to his professional fields, communities and the university during an annual awards ceremony on Thursday, October 4.
A first-generation college graduate, Christopher has been involved in college admissions and access for 25 years holding various leadership positions at the Michigan College Access Network, University of Wisconsin-Superior, Western Michigan University, University of Michigan-Dearborn, and Gannon University. Tremblay is also co-founder and co-editor of the Journal of College Access and serves on the editorial board for College & University Journal.
